At present the state fees for establishing a limited liability company (LLC) are approximately 500 Leva (BGN) 180 Sterling (STG). including bank commissions.

The minimum required capital for establishing An LLC is 5,000 BGN ( 1,800STG), however, after the company has been registered, the capital can be withdrawn.

The local property tax is 2% of the purchase price

The National Registration Tax is 0.1%

The State certified Notary legalizes the purchase at fees based on the Statutory Notary Tariff and are not more than 3,000 BGN (1,080 STG).

It is common practice to write in the deed, a tax assessment which is much lower than the real price of the property, therefore, it is recommended to keep any internal documents stating the purchase price actually paid.

Annual council taxes for public lighting, refuse collection, etc are typically less than 140 STG.
