At present, the state fees for establishing a company are totally about 450 BGN (approximately 150 GBP ) including bank commissions. The minimum required capital into your company bank account for establishing a LLC is 5 000 BGN (approximately 1,800 GBP ). The bank fee is about 100 BGN ( 33 GBP ). Please note that after the company is registered the capital can be withdrawn.
The Local Property Tax is 2% of the purchase price.
The National Registration Tax is 0.1%.
The Notary (state certified) legalizes the deal and their fees are based on tables reflecting the purchase price and are typically less than 450 BGN (150 GBP) . It is a common practice to write in the deed the tax assessment which is much lower than the real price of the property. Our advice is always to keep an internal document stating the real price of the property.
The commission of the estate agency is 3% of the full purchase price and is paid at the stage of the Preliminary Purchase Agreement.
The yearly local council taxes for public lighting, refuse collection etc are typically less than 200 Euro.
