Marketing our projects around the world is not just left to our Associates in their respective countries. Our executives are regularly travelling to, and working in, those markets to develop sales and consolidate new and existing commercial relationships.
RUSSIA - Chairman Andreas Kasioulis and Managing Director, Haris Menelaou attended property exhibitions in Moscow and St Petersburg.
Further visits later this year will ensure sales are developed for both Bulgaria and Cyprus from a very active overseas property market.
We can announce this month the opening of our new office in Limassol, Cyprus not only to service the Cyprus market buying in Bulgaria, but as a base for our Russian sales force to sell both Cyprus and Bulgaria to the Russian market.
SCANDINAVIA - Agency Relations Manager Karen Hedley braved sub zero temperatures to attend the property exhibition in Malmo, Sweden, and then sign some more Agreements with a number of Associates showing good potential in Norway, Sweden and Denmark.
This years' 2008 Scandinavian strategy will be built on these new relationships.
LITHUANIA - Karens' shopping list includes the property exhibition in Vilnius this year and a look at some other emerging countries from the former eastern bloc where gradually increasing disposable income may lead to second home buying.
MIDDLE EAST -The Chairman, Director Alex Beeston and Sales Executive George Gkotsopoulos along with Magdalena Georgieva and Mira Gerova Bulgaria Sales Executives attended the Dubai property exhibition, which produced some very successful results proving the company is presenting well against major competition.
The Chairman continued visits to interested Investors in other Middle Eastern countries.
IRELAND - Manager, Brian Axon -Boyes travelled most of the counties, meeting Associates in both Northern Ireland and Eire and signing up new commercial Agreements. A further visit to the South and South West counties will follow this year.
With Cyprus having adopted the Euro this year and our Bulgarian prices all in Euros per square metre, it is much simpler now for Irish purchasers to make comparisons in their own currency.
UNITED KINGDOM - Alex and Brian along with Dani, Mira and Magdalena from Bulgaria attended UK exhibitions last year and will continue in 2008 with a number of consolidation visits, joint and separate exhibitions and the signing of new Agreements.
The company is making sure that in a cautious UK market at present, relationships with our Associates are strong and when decisions on purchase need to be made we are at the forefront in our positioning.
